Objectives of WA3 “Course Development”
The purpose of this work area is to develop courses and course modules based on the WASP-ED curriculum that can be introduced either as new courses or as part of existing courses at our universities. To maximize the impact, modules should be designed in a flexible way to make them easy to integrate into existing university courses.
Courses will be developed by multiple universities together, to take advantage of the best expertise and to increase the impact. Support will be provided both for the development of new materials as well as the adaptation and integration of this material into existing courses.
Special emphasis is placed on leveraging the knowledge and competence that exists within WASP and WASP-HS.
Expected Outcomes
Overview
An overview of the need for new courses and the opportunity to enhance existing courses with an AI component based on the WASP-ED curriculum
New Courses
At least 10 new courses should be developed and given by partner universities.
Open Online Courses
At least 5 open online courses should be developed and given at least twice each.
Course Modules
At least 10 course modules should be developed that are integrated in at least two different courses at different universities.
